En route - main sail furlers and potty business

Sailed through the night and have enjoyed a beautiful sunrise. Perfect conditions at present with the wind and the waves a little aft of beam, Beaufort 5.

But, the darn main sail keeps being a pest. After having replaced the faulty control box, we now still have problems with the furling brake. During the night we had 20-25 kn of wind and tried to put in a reef but the sail kept unfurling on its own. Finally had to furl it all the way in. Bummer when we finally had some good wind. For now, the plan is to limp along until Stuart and address then; if the conditions are good and stable we sail with the full main, else we furl it away altogether.

The other big news is that Lucy now has done #2 for the first time on the boat. Very good for her and for us! She’s shaping up to be quite the boat dog, the good girl.
