Cruiser’s Haircut

24 09.650 N 74 44.880 W I crossed another brave boundary the other day. I turned Chris loose on my hair with Lucy’s grooming equipment. That’s what desperation looks like when a tangled mess needs attention. Not the gentlest of haircuts, but Chris did a great job. I’m back to short and tidy. It was also our last full day in Exumas before heading off into new territories. We took the dinghy to the Stocking Island beach by George Town for one last romp with Lucy and a swim. We’ve seen a lot of the Bahamas by now and that beach is our favorite. Miles of beautiful sand by water that is nothing but spectacular. The water is so clear that when a big wave rises to break on the beach, you can see straight through it. We will look back very fondly on the Exumas. And now we are sailing east under reefed sails and a starry sky. Next stop is the outpost island of San Salvador, Bahamas. Then we will continue east and south to the Turks and Caicos, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and finally the
